Harvey Wice

Harvey Wice, 85, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at his home on Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born in Gilford, Michigan on June 24, 1931 the son of Artie & Daisey (Miller) Wice. On July 5, 1952 he married the women of his dreams, Maxine Myers in Gladwin. They celebrated 64 wonderful years together. He was employed as an employee training machinist and crane operator for General Motors in Grand Blanc, Michigan, retiring in 1987 with 35 years of service. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1986 previously residing in Grand Blanc and drove for the Gladwin County Transit for 12 years. He was a man who wore many hats throughout his lifetime. He was an accomplished musician, Ham Radio Operator WT8J, and he was a crafty builder of homes and garages.  His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife: Maxine Wice of Gladwin; sons: Harvey Dale Wice of Rankin; Ronald Eugene (Brenda) Wice of Goodrich; daughter: Kimberly Joy (William Thomas) Campbell of Grand Blanc; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Glen Wice of Gladwin; Larry Wice of Harrison; sisters: Mary Ellen Ramsey of Midland; Shirley Spence of Clare and several nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter in-law: Leona Faye Wice; brother: Robert Wice; sister: Joy Dunham. Private Funeral Services were conducted by Ronald Wice at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. He was laid to rest at a Private Graveside Service at Butman Twp.
