Linda L. Clarkson, 62, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 06, 2016. She was born on July 28, 1954, the daughter of Robert & Mary (Evart) Betts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On July 20, 1996, she married her true love, Glenn Clarkson in Livonia, Michigan. She has lived in Oakland County and her hunting cabin in Beaverton, Michigan, for the past 16 years, previously residing in Redford, Michigan. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 20 years: Glenn Clarkson of Wolverine Lake, Michigan; daughter: Amy Black of Ypsilanti, Michigan; son: Thearon Black III of Flint, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; step-daughter: Katina (Tony) Price of Beaverton; step-son: Kyle (Nicole) Clarkson of Mt. Pleasant; daughter-in-law: Kimberly Clarkson of Coleman; brothers: Charles Betts of Wolverine Lake, Michigan; Bobby Betts of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Johnny Betts of Kalamazoo, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: son-in-law: Justin Clarkson; 2 brothers: Fred, Bill. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 15, 2016, 12:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens, Livonia, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family.  Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
