Cecil H. Morgan

Cecil H. Morgan, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away at McLaren Central Michigan on Thursday, September 29, 2016. He was born on January 30, 1923, in Breckenridge, Texas the son of Cal & Correnne (Harless) Morgan. On December 26, 1945, he was united in marriage to Anna Marie Rogers in Gladwin, Michigan. She predeceased him in 2006. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country during World War II. He was employed as a teacher for Bloomfield Hills Board of Education, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has lived in Isabella County for the past 16 years, previously residing in Gladwin. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Unionville, Michigan and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Gladwin. His memory will be cherished by his daughter: Dee Ann (John) Frye of Florida; daughter: Christine Scott of Mt. Pleasant; son: Michael Morgan of Hamburg, Michigan. His children blessed him with 9 beautiful grandchildren and 9 beautiful great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters: Patricia Foco of Jackson, Michigan; Selena O’Laughlin of Linwood, Michigan; brother: Robert Morgan of Morgantown, West Virginia. He is preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie Morgan; parents: Cal & Correnne Morgan; son: Timothy John Morgan; brother: Frank Morgan; sisters: Irene Steele; Virginia Campbell; Helen Morgan; Mary Yost. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, October 6, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 4-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
