James Jay Morley, 54, of Clare, Michigan passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on January 19, 1962 the son of Jim & Judith (Love) Morley. He had lived in Clare County for the last 9 months, previously residing in Detroit and Gladwin County. He worked as a self-employed farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His heart was always into raising animals and farming, but his real passion was racing Standardbred horses, even though his health prevented him from pursuing his life course. His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter: Katie Davis of Bay City and his only grandchild: Karalina. He is also survived by his sisters: Jamie (Randy) Zylman of Coleman; Jodie (Donald) Dore of Bentley; Staci (Luke) Stevenson of Nevada and several nieces & nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Jim & Judith Morley and his nephew: CPL Casey Zylman. The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to those at The Oak Bridge Inn in Clare for the care and concern for James as well as the friends he made there, and for being the great support group that he needed.
