Eleanor Anne Roehrs

Eleanor Anne Roehrs, 61, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away, surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer on Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was born the daughter of Stephen and Mary Frances (Martin) Petrik Sr. on February 22, 1955 in Gladwin County. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Roehrs Sr. on January 15, 1972 in Gladwin. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and worked at the Midland Hospital, Midland, Michigan. Eleanor was a very proud "Nana", and she loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She was a diehard Wolverine fan, and strongly rooted for her favorite "Maize and Blue" teams at the University of Michigan. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband of 44 years, Bill Roehrs of Beaverton; son: William Roehrs Jr. of Beaverton; daughter: Angela Roehrs (Dan Weideman) of Midland; Rob (Jody) Roehrs of Midland; son: Mike (Amanda) Northrup of Beaverton: daughter: Valeria (Brendan) Miller of Colorado. Her children blessed her with nine beautiful grandchildren: Kiley, Braylen, Caysen, Chelsea, Brian, Abby, Dylan, Lucia and Mariana. She is also survived by her sister Maureen (Wayne) Sheets of Beaverton, father Stephen Petrik Sr. of Beaverton, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother: Mary Frances Petrik, sister: Susan Petrik, and brother: Stephen Petrik III. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor James Krach on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 A.M at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 12-8 P.M., at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery in Beaverton.
