Richard Ora Hale

Richard Ora Hale, 75, of Clare, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was born the son of Lorn and Alice (Thorington) Hale on November 11, 1940 in Gladwin, Michigan. He retired from a Foundry in Cadillac, Michigan. He was a lifetime resident of Clare County, where he was also a farmer. Richard loved to read and listen to country music. He was a humorous, teasing but loving man. His memory will be forever cherished by his six children: Charles (Darcell) Hale of Harrison, Michigan, Donald (Liz) Mack of Traverse City, Michigan, Steven Hale of Maine, Bryan Taylor, Debbie Hale of Detroit, Michigan, and LeeAnn Hale of Florida. His children blessed him with many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Karen (Duane) Morse from Bath, Michigan; his brother Donald (Carol) Hale; and several nieces and nephews. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place, and memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions will be used according to the wishes of the family.
