Rick C. Starr, 59, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born in Flint, Michigan on October 28, 1956 the son of Floyd & Edith (Wilson) Starr. On April 5, 1980 he was united in marriage to his true love, Cindy Peters in Gladwin. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1974, previously residing in Genesee County, and he was employed doing construction for R Starr Builder in Gladwin. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Starr of Gladwin; son: Lee Starr; daughter: Julie Starr both of Gladwin; son: Kirk Starr of Mt. Pleasant; 1 grandchild: Edie Lauree Starr soon to be born; brother: Floyd (Betty) Starr of Gladwin; father in-law & mother in-law: Frank & Edrie Peters of Gladwin; sister in-law: Marlene Starr of Gladwin; brother in-laws: Brian Peters of Gladwin; Pat & (Angella) Peters also of Gladwin and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Jack Starr. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there are no services at this time.
