David Owen Moore, 75, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Mid Michigan Health, Midland, Michigan. He was born the son of Earl and Marguerite (McAllister) Moore in Hastings, Michigan on July 27, 1940. He married the mother of his children, Sally Clinton, on December 29, 1961 in Hastings, Michigan. They shared 35 wonderful years together before she preceded him in death in 1996. He then married Judy Morrison in 1998 in West Branch, Michigan before she preceded him in death in 2002. He was currently married to Darla Brasington on November 1, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada and she is left to cherish his memory. David was a resident of Gladwin County since 1977, previously residing in Hastings, Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country. He was Vice President of Manufacturing at Brown Machinery in Beaverton, Michigan, retiring in 2003. His memory will live on in the heart of his loving wife of eleven years, Darla Moore of Gladwin, sons: Bradly (Mary) Moore of Gladwin, and Eric (Pamela) Moore of Coopersville, Michigan; stepchildren Michael Lippard of Houston, Texas and Daneen Lippard of Rosebush, Michigan. His children and step children blessed him with thirteen beautiful grandchildren: Sally, Bryan, Mike, Laci, Lexi, Lance (Michelle), Luke (Shanna), Rachel, Shannen, Brenden, Breanna, and Samantha; and three great grandchildren: Noah, Kolt and Kooper. He is also survived by his brothers: Paul (Becky) Moore of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and William (Carolyn) Moore of Naples, Florida; and sisters: Phyllis DeBoer of Clearwater, Florida and Donna (Joe) Fitzgerald of Zephyrhills, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Sally Moore, second wife: Judy Moore, granddaughter: Theresa Moore and step son Rick Lippard. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at The Assembly of God Church in Gladwin, Michigan at 5:00 P.M. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the church from 3:00 until the time of service.
