Thomas L. Alsup, 53, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was born on July 12, 1963, in Clawson, Michigan, the son of Hayton & Mary Jean (Dalton) Alsup. On November 13, 1998, he married Cynthia Gifford in Toledo, Ohio. Thomas was employed as a maintenance operator at Secord Lake Marina, Gladwin. He has lived in Gladwin County since May 2016, previously residing in Farwell, Michigan.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 17 years, Cynthia Alsup of Gladwin and Farwell; step-sons Russell Toman & friend Kirsten of San Diego, California and Bradley Toman of Laingsburg, Michigan; daughter Katie (Arron) Nelson of Long Beach, California; grandchildren Abigail, Arron, Samantha, Rubyjean; sisters Peggy (Doug) Hutchinson of Lapeer and Laurie Dileva of Lapeer; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Dale; and niece Jessica Hutchinson. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
