Joseph Scott Lyons

Joseph Scott Lyons, 47, of Beaverton, Michigan, suddenly went to be with the Lord on Independence Day, July 4, 2016. Born on December 8, 1968, “Little Joe”, as his siblings called him, was the youngest of Gilbert and Lucille Lyons’ seven children. Joe enjoyed fishing and wood-working in his shop. He spent much of his adulthood working as a carpenter for several different companies. Joe was a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, and friend to all. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially his two grandchildren. Joseph Scott Lyons was an amazing man that will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving Joe are his wife, Stacie Lyons; his children Joseph Lloyd and Alexandra Ann Lyons (with future son in-law, Cody Davis); stepchildren, Rachel Lynn and Renee Elizabeth Thompson; his grandchildren, Mitchell Roger, and Marissa Rose; his parents Gil and Lucille Lyons; five siblings, Jan (Randy) Zdrojewski, Shelly (Joe) Swanton, Monica (Phil) King, John (Margaret) Lyons, Pat (Julie) Lyons; all of Beaverton, Michigan. Also surviving Joe are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his infant son Jacob Eugene Lyons, in April of 1992, his infant brother Michael Paul Lyons, and his grandparents. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Randy Govitz on Friday July 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, Michigan.
