Virginia A. Boyer, 76, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Gladwin Pines on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. She was born in Midland County on July 4, 1939 the daughter of Elmer and Beulah (Sova) Boman. She resided in Gladwin County for most of her life, previously residing in Midland County. She was united in marriage to Wayne Boyer on November 26, 1955 in Gladwin, Michigan. They shared 54 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 2009. Her memory will forever be cherished by her sons: Wyatt (Darlene) Boyer of Pinconning, Rodney (Diane) Boyer of Tennessee and Todd Boyer of Gladwin. Their children blessed them with seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Rosemary Selle of Au Gres, Regina Bloom of Midland; three brothers: Elmer Boman Jr. of Villages, Florida, William Boman and Thomas Boman of Midland; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Wayne Boyer; son: Wayne Boyer; parents and twin sisters: Nora Naugle and Laura Bates. Funeral Services will be conducted by Evangelist Pat Boulton on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00-9:00 P.M. Her final resting place will be at Bentley Township Cemetery, Rhodes Michigan. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be used according to the wishes of the family.
