Evelyn Pickard, 94, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Health in Gladwin on Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born in Gladwin on February 16, 1922. On October 21, 1938 she was united in marriage to her true love, George Pickard in Gladwin. They shared almost 72 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 2010. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Gladwin County, and she attended the First United Methodist Church. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son: George Pickard Jr.; daughters: Shari Gary and Julie Lennon. She was blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren; 21 wonderful great grandchildren and 9 precious great-great grandchildren; 1 sister: Eunice Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter: Gloria granddaughter: Denise Ann Gary; son in-law: Lyle Gary; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor David Amstutz on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 1-8:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at Ridge Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
