Robert O. Ostic

Robert O. Ostic, 89, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre on Monday, May 23, 2016. He was born in Applegate, Michigan on April 12, 1927, the son of Moses & Ildia (Spencer) Ostic. On March 31, 1979, he married his true love, Gladys Doman in Beaverton, Michigan. She predeceased him in 2015. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during World War II. He had lived in Gladwin County most of his life and he was employed with Brown Machine Company in Beaverton until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Council 427 in Coleman, Michigan. His memory will be cherished by his children: Eric Ostic of Beaverton, MI; Paula Hoffman of Shepherd, MI; Brenda Colgate of Niles, MI; Fern (Phillip) Neal of Florida; Linda Balon of Yale, MI; Rick (Debbie) Sutton of Marlette, MI; Terry (Susan) Sutton of Beaverton, MI; Craig Sutton of Beaverton, MI; Morley (Sue) Nolan of Gladwin, MI. He was blessed with 22 beautiful grandchildren; 18 precious great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife: Gladys Ostic; parents; 2 sisters: Stella and Della. Funeral Services will be conducted by Walter Ross on Friday, May 27, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral; Home, Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4-8:00 P.M. His final resting place will be Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
