Rex Lavern Easlick, 74, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at his home on Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born in Gladwin on April 1, 1942, the son of Daniel & Fannie (Dickerson) Easlick. On May 28, 1966, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Janet Neaves in Flint, Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1962-1966 during the Vietnam Era. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County where he farmed as well as working for Robinson Industry in Beaverton until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Post 7303. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 49 years, Janet Easlick of Gladwin; children: Stacy (Ken) Klein of Gladwin; Lisa Easlick of Hartland; David Easlick of Gladwin; Mike Easlick also of Gladwin. Their children blessed them with 7 beautiful grandchildren: Jeremy, Josh, Ryan, Makenzie, Dustin, Kasidey and Xander; 9 precious great grandchildren: Kirtis, Owen, Maci, Joshua, Logan, Kaitlyn, Bryant, Anicia and Alexa; sister: Jackie Eveland of Gladwin and several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by parents and one brother: Ron Easlick. Honoring his wishes cremation will take place and memorial services will be conducted by Ken Klein at Butman Township Hall Gladwin, Michigan on Sunday, June 5, 2016, 2:00 P.M. with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 P.M.
