Ruth Ann Hare, 76, of Beaverton, Michigan (formerly of Hemlock) passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born in Hemlock on November 18, 1939, the daughter of Michael & Beatrice (Hall) Masar. In June of 1959, she married her true love, Edward Hare in Lakefield, Michigan. They shared 57 wonderful years together before he predeceased her April 15, 2016. She was a homemaker living in Gladwin County since 1993, previously residing in Hemlock, and she was a member of the Beaverton Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting and canning, and her family always looked forward to her cooking skills, especially making goodies for the holidays. She was a very kind and caring person and truly loved to spoil her grandchildren. Her memory will be forever cherished by her 3 daughters: Karen (Tom) Satkowiak of Saginaw; Janet (Tim) Bergman of Beaverton; Elaine (Craig) Merrell of Freeland; daughter in-law: Darlene Hare of Birch Run. She was blessed with 12 beautiful grandchildren: Jenny (Jeff) Rankin; Matt (Sara) Satkowiak; Steven Merrell; Elizabeth Merrell; Sara (Joel) Meier; Abi Bergman; Cal Bergman; Zach Hare; Rachel Hare; Stephanie (Nick) Kuchey; Chelsea Hare and Brent (Kefira) Zink; 9 precious great grandchildren: Charlie; Izzy; Stella; Cameron; Daniel; Ryan; Elizabeth; Leland; Alanna and her faithful, loyal companion: Henry; 3 sisters: Helen (Louis) Becker of Ithica; Terisa Berkobien of Saginaw; Rosemary (Jim) Costello of New Jersey; 2 brothers: Dewey (Anna) Masar of Prescott; Ted (Shirley) Masar of Hemlock and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward Hare; 2 sons: Mark Hare; Allan Hare; parents: Michael & Beatrice Masar; 1 sister: Wilma Jerry; 1 brother: Frank Masar; in-laws: Winfred & Esther Spaeth. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Chris Slosser on Friday, May 13, 2016, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2-8:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at Billings Twp. Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
