Ruth Brokoff, 90, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at the Horizon Senior Living in Gladwin on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born in Gladwin on July 31, 1925 the daughter of Elmer & Jennie (Smith) Brunni. On May 25, 1945 she was united in marriage to her true love, Clarence O. Brokoff in Portsmouth, Virginia. They celebrated 53 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 1998. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Gladwin County and attended Our Savior Lutheran Church. Her memory will be forever cherished by her only daughter: Carolyn Hall of Gladwin; granddaughters: Denise (Shawn) Windy of Hemlock; Jen (Gary) Todd of Beaverton; great grandchildren: Alec; Ethan; Liza; Ryan and Sara; great-great grandchild: Paxton; sister: Phyllis (Bob) Sweebe of Decatur, Alabama; brother in-law: Pete Roberson of Gladwin; several nieces, nephews and special Godchildren. She is preceded in death her husband: Clarence Brokoff; parents: Elmer & Jennie Brunni; son in-law: Thomas Hall; sisters: Jennie Geneva Brunni; Maxine Roberson; brothers: Richard Brunni; Leo Brunni. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor James Krach on Friday, April 29, 2016, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 1-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
