Janice M. Malenfant

Janice M. Malenfant, 45, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 15, 1970, the daughter of Arlen E. & Maureen J. (Maxwell) Youngblood Sr. On January 10, 1994, she was united in marriage to her true love, Thomas Malenfant in Gladwin. She had lived in Gladwin County for the last 30 years, previously residing in Pontiac. Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 21 years, Thomas Malenfant; 2 sons: Aaron Malenfant and girlfriend Donna Canfield of Gladwin; Jerame Malenfant of Gladwin; her only grandchild, Braydyn Malenfant, whom she absolutely adored. She is also survived by her sisters: Kathy (Leonard) Barnes of Davisburg, MI; Arlene (Ron) Fraley of Davison, MI; Julia Barnes of Fenton, MI; Virginia (Jim) Eyman of Waterford, MI; Midge Youngblood of Eastpointe, MI; brothers: Arlen E. Youngblood Jr. of Deluth, Minnesota; William Youngblood of Saginaw, MI; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Arlen Sr. & Maureen Youngblood; brother: Keith Edward Youngblood; 2 brother in-laws: George Barnes Sr.; Derek Walker; 1 sister in-law: Alice Youngblood. Honoring the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.
