Wayne A. Boyer, 58, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away after a lingering illness at Medilodge Nursing Home in Sterling, Michigan on Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born in Clare, Michigan on April 18, 1957, the son of Wayne & Virginia (Boman) Boyer. He had lived in Gladwin County most of his life, and he was employed as a laborer at Local 1098 in Saginaw, Michigan. Wayne loved to fish and enjoyed watching the deer grazing in the back yard. He was a huge baseball fan and loved watching the Detroit Tigers. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother: Virginia Boyer of Gladwin; 3 brothers: Wyatt (Darlene) Boyer of Pinconning; Rodney (Diane) Boyer of Tennessee; Todd Boyer of Gladwin. He is preceded in death by his father: Wayne H. Boyer. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Douglas E. Corwin on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Rhodes Cemetery, Rhodes, Michigan.
