Danny Joe Ramey, 55, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Health in Midland, Michigan on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan on June 27, 1960, the son of Kenneth & Wanda (Lawson) Ramey. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He had lived in Gladwin County for the last 4 years, previously residing in Harrison, Michigan. His passion was music and he loved to sing, and he was a huge Elvis Presley fan. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife: Jane Ramey of Gladwin; step-sister: Katherine (Randy) Kline of Cameron, North Carolina; father and step-mother: Kenneth (Peggy) Ramey of Cameron, North Carolina; half-brother: Danny (Shelly) Nunley of Cameron, North Carolina; aunt: Roseanna McGowan of Brighton, Michigan; uncle: John Mays: Cedar Creek, Texas; great aunt: Margaret Vibbert of Summershade, Kentucky; mother in-law: Phyllis Searfoss of Gladwin; sister in-law: Joyce Searfoss of Gladwin; brother in-law: John Searfoss of Gladwin; 3 nieces: Emmy and Elly Nunley of Cameron, North Carolina; Ava Kline of Cameron, North Carolina; best friend: Bill Tucker of Farwell, Michigan; several cousins; many friends and church members. He is preceded in death by his mother: Wanda Ramey; grandparents; father in-law: Leonard Searfoss. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Log Church, Alger, Michigan.
