Sherri Rellinger-Weaver

Sherri (Rellinger) Weaver, 57, of Alanson, Michigan passed away at her home on Friday, February 26, 2016. Sherri was born in Gladwin, Michigan on August 26, 1958 the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Brubaker) Rellinger. She had lived in Petoskey for the last 35 years, previously residing in Gladwin. Sherri worked as a caretaker in Petoskey for many years, and absolutely loved her patients and what she did. She loved nature and she was a very passionate gardener. Sherri especially loved hiking in the mountains and peaceful beach walks. She was dearly loved by all her nieces and nephews, and will be sadly missed by her little dog Louie. She is also survived by her brother: Gary Rellinger of Alanson, MI; sister: Karen (Tom) Brokoff of Canadian Lakes, MI; sister: Barbara (Robert) Williams of Hemlock, MI; sister: Rebecca (Jim) Atkinson of Harrison; brother: Phil Rellinger of Green Bay, WI and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Dorothy (Brubaker) Rellinger and sister in law: Darla. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
