Peggy Lee Bates

Peggy Lee Bates, 67, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at her home on Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on February 25, 1948. On December 27, 2002, she was united in marriage to Eugene Bates in Gladwin. She was a homemaker living in Gladwin County most of her life. She loved lighthouses and hummingbirds, and she was a big NASCAR fan. Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband: Eugene Bates of Beaverton; son: Steve (Donna) Swosinski; daughter: Bobbie (Ron) Porter; step-son: Tom (Nicole) Bates and several grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson: Cody Lee Porter and her parents. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Martin Hodge on Monday, February 22, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
